Gardenian “ Sindustries “

Welcoming the new millenium, appears Gardenian with a Cd where one could always denote their Gothemburg influences yet “beautifully” enriched by some exotic melodies such as Amorphis has granted the world.
This is perfect to headbang ( just as almost all Gothemburg’s sound influenced bands ) as it has some great moments that ranges from crunching melodic rhythms to hideously serene melodies that seem to sculpture a gallery of heavenly moans rising from heaven to the stars ( the acoustic guitars on this cd were portrayed by Lars Szöke and the keys and programming by Peter Tägtgren both of “You Know WHO” fame hehe ) filled by heavy solos as the rhytmn section keeps on killing peace with technical breaks and appealing beats! The vocals feels desperate enough that they seem to come from those grounds where insane perils await covered by shadows although those sepulchral voices are sometimes put at one side so others, more “inocent”, may swing into our ears on waves of melodic ecstasy....
I can’t tell you any weak points here as it’s their own musical interpretation of certain ideas and emotions although sometimes it makes me a bit bored ( well, maybe that’s the missing weak point hehe ) due to a certain deja ecouté feeling...
Recorded at the Abyss studios ( strangely, I’m not surprised hehe ), it has a great sound that should appeal to those that want it clear and audible ( radio friendly? ) yet furious and breeding METAL!!!
