Silentium “ Infinita Plango Vulnera “

Put the cd running and then lay in your bed... Welcome yourself to a lost world, an eerie dream, an autumn serenade, serenety’s embrace... You’re beyond reality! You’ve entred Silentium’s world, a Doom/Dark/Goth outfit that hails from Finland!
Having the influences of My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost and Anathema they’ve debuted in the scene with a very strong Cd ( after two demos that I know nothing about )! It may not be original nowadays but still demonstrates that these finnish now how to express their inner coldest feelings through music... Just listen to “ Redemption “, “ Whatever the pain “, “ Requiem “, “ At the dance I wept “ and let your soul sigh as tears battle to come out...
Here we face the majesty of the violin, not forgetting the emotions portrayed by the sorrowful keyboards and acoustic guitars that lead us into the loneliness in our hearts... Sometimes the lead vocalist makes us remember the melodic suffering induced in both’s My Dying Bride’s, Sentenced’s and Anathema’s vocalists ( sorrow comes to all in many forms! ), but there is still time for a blackened portrait of the soul in “ Whatever the pain “ and “ With blood adorned “. There’s also female vocals that appear now and then to give us a more enchanted atmosphere but it lacks a certain security that will come with time...
If you’re into the most dramatic aspect of life in music, pay a listen to these finnish... and let your soul be carried away in grief...
