Marduk “ La grande danse macabre “

There’s no stop for the Panzer Black metal machine hailing from Sweden... Portraying an even darker imagenery than in “ Panzer Division Marduk “ where the glorification of those evil rolling war raping machines ( tanks he ) was focused, this Cd show us that Marduk aren’t competing anymore for the fastest band ( meaning that their aproach is divided between funeral and blitzkrieg ambiences ) in the Universe... “alive”! Speeding tickets are getting quite expensive nowadays! hehe
This is released by the guitarrist Morgan’s own label ( as they departed from Osmose ), Blooddawn Productions! The first 10 000 copies will be delivered in a strictly limited, never to be re-issued slip case with a yet confidential bonus track ( lucky bastards )! The album is also available on picture disk and ordinary vinyl (1000 copies, strictly limited) as well...
Having been recorded on Abyss studios, produced by the band itself and engineered by the renowned Peter Tägtgren, we’re faced with 10 burial manifests ( a concept dealing with Death with the latter track focusing on the anti christian subject that we all like ) where macabre melodies and rhythm savagery are bound in dehumanized rituals for all dark souls outhere that worship the so called “true” Black metal!
Destroy cristianity’s feud!!! Enraged by four tormenting souls that appear behind shadows depicting their unholy skils under the names of Morgan Häkansson, the guitarrist that still leads us into classical and oriental movements that focuses on rage and bestiality ( maybe Wagner would be proud as he also was a controverse personallity at his time giving to the world magnificent pieces of art that had much of serene as Cerberus ); B. War, the bass player that focuses on gaining control of the storm within himself and releasing it through all Marduk’s songs; Fredrik Andersson, the drummer that keeps on destroying his drums and our hears with his stormy rhythms; and finnaly, but certanly not the least, Legion, a demonic being that took a human form and decided to spread his hellfire vocals beyond all ...
The eight song, “Funeral Bitch”, being one of the most powerful on this cd ( just listen to “Azrael“, “Obedience unto Death”, “Bonds of unholy matrimony”, the epic “La grande danse macabre” and “ Death Sex Ejaculation “ ), brings to us on the last minute, the voice of that great actor, Christopher Lee, as he induces terror with the words from a scene coming from “Howling 2”, a film that deals with Werewolves, has loads of erotic scenes and a great horrifying story that wasn’t achieved on the first and latter films with the same name.
This is a fine example that time doesn’t necessarily softens a band!!! Enter the great hall where the unknown awaits, although, one could always know that with Marduk quality is always by their side!!!
