Inner Shrine “ Fallen Beauty “

And so it starts... With melancholic sweet melodies portrayed by classical guitars before bitterness rages it’s cold cries that return to our ears, nothing more than a desolated yet pale weeping, haven’t we heard other bands with the same raging/serene influences! One thing interesting though, is that this band hails from Italy...
In here, we see them falling into their own emotions, portrayed as music, as there isn’t really a tendencie to copy rather than follow the Doom/Gothic wave ( there are even some parts here that reminds me some portuguese Doom/Goth bands and their unique sound ), using and sometimes abusing of female voices ( they have two: an opera singer and a more normal one that they grant to have a mystic voice ) that fills with passion the grieving symphonies that Inner Shrine evokes into our reality...
Although, there exists plenty of atmospheric and sad moments, they don’t put to a side a more epic ones, that conveys to the nature of things a brighter chemistry that awakes our dormant blood! The piano and synths breed a somewhat special aura captivating those of ancestral weakness where the male voices may sing, at one moment, in a more clean level and, in another, disturb our peace with dark and rough voices...
This is, nonetheless, the perfect soundtrack for those rainy days in which we find no escape and wish nothing more than just relax and rest while our soul flows into worlds that are far from this pitful reality... worlds in which, maybe, we will find the fallen beauty of Man!
