Nyctophobic “ Insects “

Digging the rotten pits of the underground since August’ 92, Nyctophobic has claimed a space of their own on that tenebrous bowel of acid cruelty one calls Death/Crust/Grind-core! After several releases that got always more agressive, chaotic, lustful for sado/maso movements throughout the years, the band released “ Insects “ ( the reason for this title is that from an orbital point of view, all humans on the planet are like insects, tiny, unimportant ) which prooves that they’re capable to make everyone scream in anguish as torturous musical notes battles against our ears trying to make us believe that the world has really gone mad and that those which are sane at this moment, are held within four walls on a psiquiatric warden! Ok, I’m being a bit too naughty about it, after all, what can I say about this Cd while listening to it without thinking I’m going nuts??? Plenty of stuff for sure... hehe
With this cd, they deliver us 17 very powerful songs ( that last around 60 minutes ) which show a better musical structure and a great production. The last track is a remix of Co(g)-existence done by Zimbo, the vocalist, which lasts for 03:11 minutes ( although it’s on a track that has a total of 27:49 minutes ) and dwells in some sort of drum n’ bass movements. If one has the patience to just push forward that same track into 25:36, one will certainly hear a “ghost” track that’s a cover of the classic “Paranoid” from the almighty gods Black Sabath!
